A seasoned hospitality professional with an impressive culinary journey spanning luxury hotels, international cruise lines, and global destinations, Chef Amit steps into the expanded leadership role with a wealth of experience and a dynamic culinary vision. In his new position, he will oversee culinary operations across the property’s restaurants, banqueting functions, weddings, conferences, and bespoke dining experiences.

Chef Amit’s career reflects a rich blend of domestic and international exposure, having worked with renowned hospitality brands including The Oberoi Rajvilas, Carnival Cruise Line, Hyatt Regency Lucknow, Marriott Indore, Hyatt Jamaica, and most recently, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC. Over the years, he has honed expertise across Indian, Italian, and Jamaican cuisines, while developing a strong command of large-scale banqueting, luxury hospitality standards, and guest-centric menu creation.

His diverse culinary background has equipped him with a nuanced understanding of regional Indian flavours, international cooking techniques, modern kitchen management, and multicultural dining preferences. This global perspective continues to shape his approach to creating contemporary, consistent, and memorable dining experiences.

In his elevated role, Chef Amit will play a pivotal part in driving the culinary direction of the property, further enhancing its vibrant food and beverage portfolio. His focus will be on curating personalised dining experiences, fostering culinary innovation, and strengthening the hotel’s reputation as a preferred destination for business travellers, leisure guests, lifestyle seekers, and MICE clientele.

Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC is home to several distinctive dining venues, including Food Exchange, Permit To Grill, The Bar, and Le Café, each offering a unique blend of regional specialities, international favourites, grilled delicacies, and café-style experiences.

The appointment comes at a time when the property continues to expand its culinary offerings through regional food festivals, chef-curated menus, private dining experiences, wedding celebrations, conference catering, and customised banqueting solutions. The culinary team also supports a diverse calendar of events hosted at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, ranging from large-scale conventions and exhibitions to corporate events, weddings, and social gatherings.
