Grand Hyatt Gurgaon has announced the appointment of Sonam Phogat as its new Director of Sales & Marketing, strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned hospitality professional known for driving commercial excellence and business growth.
With over 15 years of experience across some of India’s leading luxury and upper-upscale hotel brands, Sonam brings deep expertise in strategic sales, revenue generation, customer engagement, and market development. Throughout her career, she has successfully led high-performing teams and delivered strong business results across key segments, including Corporate, MICE, Weddings, Diplomatic, Airline, OTA, Travel Trade, and Leisure.
Before joining Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, Sonam served as Director of Sales at Pullman and Novotel New Delhi Aerocity, where she spearheaded commercial strategies for the dual-branded flagship properties. Her impressive professional journey also includes key leadership roles with The Westin Resort & Spa Gurgaon, ITC Hotels, Hyatt Regency Delhi, and The Leela Ambience Gurugram, giving her extensive exposure to diverse hospitality markets and customer segments.
In her new role, Sonam will oversee the hotel’s Sales & Marketing operations, leading commercial strategy, revenue optimization, brand positioning, customer relationship management, and market expansion initiatives. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time as Grand Hyatt Gurgaon continues to strengthen its reputation as one of India’s premier luxury destinations for business travel, leisure stays, weddings, and large-scale events.
